About Scunnered After School Care

My child is at nursery school can he attend the after school service?
No

My child is at nursery school can he attend the summer holiday service?
Yes, if he is due to start Primary School in the new August term

I don't work can my child attend?
Absolutely - the out of school care service is for anyone.

Do I need to leave my child the full two hours?
No. Some children are only here for an hour to allow parents/carers to get home from work

I am still worried that someone will pick up my child without me knowing. What procedures do you have in place to make sure he is safe and secure?
We have a security system in place where everyone has to ring a bell to get access to the building. We also have a Tannoy system to allow us to call for children to come to reception.

What do the children do?Trust us - they will have an absolute ball! We have a variety of fun and learning activities; trips and visits; projects and initiatives planned in advance to make sure that each child is fully engaged at all times.

Sometimes I forget his homework from school - can you help?
Yes - staff will help with homework but it is important that parents/carers check and support the child before handing the work in to school
